52 Weeks of Urban Nature Week Twelve: Snowy Edition, Part Two
February 14, 2016

Full admission: I had a cold this week and didn’t really get out shooting much. However, we had a quick burst of snow Saturday morning and I snapped a few, focusing on vegetation covered in snow. I especially liked this tree — the south side of the tree was flecked with snow, while the north side was not. In general I find bark to be fascinating visually and texturally, and I’m expecting it’ll crop up a few times this year! I was actually thinking about that as a “52 Weeks” project somewhere down the line — just images of gorgeous, richly textured bark.
